Mature Conversations in Stranger Sips

1 min read

Take a bigger sip of Stranger Sips #

Stranger Sips is an open-ended, player driven chat sandbox. You can interact with a wide range of NPCs with varied backgrounds and points of view. Within this sandbox you can take the story in almost any direction. The game is designed to be exploration-friendly, and privacy focused, minimizing content restrictions.

There are some limitations, however, so please read on.

Who is the game for? #

Stranger Sips is designed for a more mature audience, similar to M-rated games or R-rated movies, and is not for kids. If you've played the free trial you may have run into the "content warning."Mature content warning".

The content warning exists to protect children who inadvertently stumble into the game, and to let them know that this game is not for them.

What kinds of chats are allowed? #

Most stories are allowed. For example, you could create your own film noir murder mystery …

… an epic battle …

… or a romance for the ages.

If a topic is generally allowed in an M-rated game or R-rated movies, then it's typically okay in Stranger Sips.

You can read more about the legal specifics in the game's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

A note on content moderation #

Stranger Sips contains some automated content flagging that may raise certain content to the attention of game moderators for further review. As a general guide, if you keep things within an R-rated/M-rated range, then you should be fine.

That's it! #

Enjoy your experience!
